“Two destinies overwhelmed by Revolution” by Emanuele Brusini

The world of fan films is a very peculiar one, because it always unites more than one passion: the passion of a company of actors for the subject and the passion for film, costume and reconstruction. In this film called “Two destinies overwhelmed by Revolution”, the italian theater no profit group “I Giocolieri delle Stelle” re-created a crossover between the japanese cartoon “Lady Oscar” and the film “Marie Antoinette” of 1938 by W.S. Van Dyke II.

The result is a very funny reconstruction, staged by amateur actors with good costumes inside palaces and amazing historical locations, gardens, woods, palaces and buildings, in which the historical characters follow an entertaining epic plot that ends in a heart touching tragedy.

We sincerely think this was a good attempt, that shows passion for history and for cinema and that put together a lot of people in doing something funny and interesting.
